Nah, he can’t tackle or head the ball, and his positioning is awful so he spends the whole time running behind the striker and trying to get a last ditch block in. He’s basically a young, not as good, Richard Stearman.

If Everton were to get a European slot for next season they’ll be allowed a squad of about 2 players. I can’t recall where I saw it but their losses in comparison to what we were fined for is ridiculously high.

£112m loss in 2018/19 and they’ve not tightened their belts since.

Ha, I was discussing this with someone earlier. He just gets in lots of good positions to score I think. Misses a fair few, but like you say can't argue with his record!

I was convinced he had already signed for Benfica?!

He's a really weird player, think I have seen him have about two good games. Always looks like he can't hit a barn door and yet apart from last year his goalscoring record is great. I'm interested in seeing him more regularly in England, though at this age you wonder if he still has the ability.

I think Cavani has been offered to all the big clubs who turned him down due to the agents fees. Man Utd are clearly more desperate than the others.
