Gerrard was already in decline before he left Liverpool, started looking lost when he didn't have the legs to get about how he used to, Lampard certainly adapted a lot better to change with age.

I don't think Gerrard really wanted to leave Liverpool so his heart was never in it.
That's probably a fair assumption for them both. Lampard especially seemed totally uninterested until it was clear that NYC would be in the playoffs.

Comfortably so, Gerrard's physical attributes declined to the point where you could only park him in front of the back four, which is far from ideal given he never would/could play as a defensive midfielder after about 2002. Lampard still looked quality for City in 2014/15.

I was never really a Gerrard fan, undoubtably a good player but I just never really took to him.

At their peaks though he probably offered you more than Lampard, a more rounded player at least, could carry the ball forward, better with his set pieces, better in the air and far more combatitive than Lampard. Frank had his niche, took over from Scholes as THE midfielder you'd want arriving on the edge of the box to get on the end of something, but he adapted his game far more as his career went on, whether it was through his own forethought or just matter of neccessity as more and more top players came in at Chelsea, certainly compared to Liverpool where Gerrard was pretty much always their best player with a fair amount of free reign.

Thinking back Lampard did well to keep himself around when he lost the defensive presense of Makelele/Essien/Mikel/etc. behind him and had to start competing with people like Ballack and Deco, then he stepped back from that attacking role almost completely as the likes of Oscar game in too. Wonder what he'll end up doing now he's done playing, never struck me as the type to go into management but he's supposedly a very intelligent guy so you'd think there'd be some use for him somewhere in football with his experience. They were saying something on R5 the other day about the lack of ex-players in administrative roles in the UK compared some other European countries, Bundesliga and Eredivise were the big examples, perhaps something like that with a business element alongside the football background could appeal to him.

Well I never...

He's done exactly what I expected of him.

Wilfred Ndidi (19) from Racing Genk passed his medicals at Leicester City. 15 million fee, five year contract.

Fun fact: his real name is Onyinye, which makes his full name incredibly fun to say (Onyinye Ndidi).

The key player in my FIFA 16 champions league winning side. Bargain.

Between Ndidi, Mendy, and Amartey, they'll have some decent options in the center. Mendy and Ndidi especially will be able to do the Kante role (albeit not as well, you would think).

Everton are in talks with Man Utd over Schneiderlin. United are hopeful of agreeing a package that will see them recoup £24m.

Oscar going to China for 60 million fee to Chelsea.

Oscar will become the third highest-paid player in the world on an astonishing annual salary of £20 million after tax following his move from Chelsea to Shanghai SIPG. The Brazil midfielder has been offered weekly net wages of £400,000 by the Chinese Super League club, which would leave him behind only Lionel Messi and Cristiano Ronaldo.

Oscar is paid £90,000 a week by Chelsea so will more than quadruple his earnings if the £60 million transfer goes through as expected next month.

The Benfica president and Jorge Mendes are due in Manchester today for talks over the transfer of 22 year old centre back Victor Llindelof to Man Utd.
He may return a week later to pick up a few lads from Wolverhampton who haven't been given fair opportunity.

Any source other than speculation on your part for the second sentence?
