Big weekend for my Son

Friday - Passed his training to become a police officer
Early Hours of today - He became a Dad after welcoming Evie into the world.

How da fook do i now have 3 grandkids.

Congratulations, im 53 with 10 grandkids and son has 2 step children, never a dull moment in my life

I got ready to watch Hornets vs Spurs only to discover the game had already finished - start brought forward 3 hours because of snow forecast.

All good here; up to 7” now! It’s proper powder so not heavy at all for the volume. *knock on wood* Still have power and all that, thankfully.

I was surprised the game went ahead at all, but they’ve used some liquid treatment on the roads (as opposed to the blue salt you commonly see here) and it’s done a remarkable job. Backroads are a fucking mess tho.

A surprising number of places stayed open today, but with the snow supposedly sticking around until tomorrow morning, I can't imagine that will continue.

One of the spots by me is running a discount for each inch of snow we get!
