The Things You Are HAPPY About Thread.

Back to work tomorrow.

Finally the dull, empty days of the festive holiday are behind me and i can look forward to time moving at a normal pace again, i was beginning to wonder if this watch i've had for Christmas was faulty because it seems like today has lasted 600 hours! Downside is the bloke i'm learning from at work isn't back until Monday so although i've got stuff to keep me busy i haven't got anyone there to ask for advice if i get stuck, i'll be in the office on my own for 3 days and i'll probably end up answering numerous phonecalls to disappointed people when i tell them he isn't there.

Still, it's better than watching the wizard of oz or some other shit.

I'm like you, need to be doing something and I get incredibly bored during holidays.

Don't go back til next week, may go running and do some training on my own as we have a match as soon as we go back and I haven't kicked a ball since my last game!

Well I've had a fabulous break and I'm dreading the end of it tomorrow morning.

I'm going to miss my family loads tomorrow. :(

I played on Sunday evening for the first time in about 3 weeks, the first couple of times i had the ball did not go well to say the least! Then i was blowing out my arse after about 8 minutes of gently jogging around.

Played my part in our last gasp equaliser though with Xabi Alonso/Stoke-esque (depending on which of my mates you ask) ball up the field which was rather flukily rolled under the keeper.

How I imagine I will be. I'm not the fittest anyway but I get away with it by not running much :D

We'll go with Xabi Alonso -esque!

That was only a lazyish 40 minutes of hanging around at the back in an 8aside game as well, i'm going to be ruined if we manage to get enough people to play 5aside tomorrow night or if i'm playing in centre midfield on a heavy, boggy pitch come Sunday morning.

Might have to try and hit the gym a few nights this week, i've eat far too much shit these few weeks over Christmas.

My sincere congratulations to you Del

My 3 days of solitary confinement has come to an end, off to see my mate's new band tonight to start the weekend.

I got an interview for a new job today...roll on Monday!

Working back in property actually for the same Corp...bonus!

I've been in the bath for well over an hour, soothing the aches and pains from this morning's return to football, which didn't go well.

On the downside i think i'm about 10 minutes away from my skin completely dissolving.

u12s won 8-2 but more pleasing was their performance. Kept the ball, scored brilliant goals and played as a team. They were all really pleased with themselves (as you'd expect) and celebrated together which was nice to see.
