The Things You Are HAPPY About Thread.

Happy to only have to have one more tranche of £2,000 of arrears deducted from my salary, to cover so called child support under payment from over 12 years ago.

Then no more F ing CS bloody A life wreckers for me.

bit of a resurrection of an old thread Beo! Good thread though.

Glad you can get the CSA off your back - the whole family law/CAFCASS/CSA stuff can be a nightmare.

Makes me happy - My boy watched his first televised Wolves game the other day (First one he's been vaguely interested in anyway), and how happy he was when we scored our goals!

Cheers PQ, well they've fair wrecked my plans for Crimbo but hey ho I'm sick of being pissed off with them it does nobody any good. So thought I'd look for a positive. One more payment to go and I'll party.

I imagine that it will be a big weight off your shoulders. Enjoy the party.

Mick, out of interest, did you find it hard to find a suitable dog? Nearly all the dogs in the big rescue homes down here are Staffys with really bad histories. Anything like a springer or a lab just got snapped up the moment they came in. We only got ours because someone else fell through.

A little late in the play here, but being involved in rescuing dogs, could I just state that whilst I don't particularly like Staffy's, their reputation goes before them.

Be clear about this, whilst dogs do have strong instincts, they are I'm afraid, very much what they're trained to be.

Most Staffy's are trained to be hunting and fighting dogs, because of the ferocious strength of their jaws and their powerful shoulders.

But be clear about this fact, there are way more injuries and reported attacks on young children from our lovable labradors than from domestically house trained Staffy's, which are intensly loyal dogs with very gentle natures. Until it trained out of them!

Way more!

Apart from Greyhounds, I've taken more staffy's than anything else to Sweden to be rehomed as a pet and they ALWAYS go to homes with babies and young children.
And to see them 6 months later playing with kids and running round in the snow and fast asleep with a baby in it's paws really makes me happy.

This thread shouldn't be neglected like this. Here's one:
Finishing Macroeconomics right on schedule. Time for a quick wank and then off to bed.

Kids films - the stuff my 5 year old watches turns out to be really good - Megamind is a great film, Tangled is pretty cool - I've been introduced to Madagascar, The incredibles, Lilo and Stitch... Great fun films... And I would never have watched them if that hadn't been the kind of thing he wants to see.

That I got through my first games of footy for around 2 months unscathed. It's only a 5-a-side league, but it's rough and fast and my ankle held up fine. should have my first proper match on Wednesday!

Getting the wedding venue sorted put a smile on my face.

The fantastic save micro squeeze pulled off for his under sevens team this morning was terrific too.

Friends coming to stay.
Going out for dinner and a pint with a good mate every 2nd Tuesday, and it's tomorrow.
Driving distances to a venue to work the next couple of days. Stay in a nice hotel and going out for a nice meal at somebody else's expense.
Walking my dogs and watching him chase rabbits out on the golf course as the sun comes up before any golfers get out.
Having a 270 acre garden with a 4 mile beach outside my back door

Having the day off work, cleaning the house, getting rid of the junk to the skip/charity shops, being a week away from booking our flights to the USA!

Did you get rid of all your stuff Yankie?

Erm no, but i am trying my damn hardest to rid the house of junk, clutter and everything else inbetween!

Another happy thing....having the best bacon butty brought up to me by the good MrsUKY!

Why don't you stick a list of the better stuff up on here?
If it's decent gear, it'll be gone in about 15 minutes.
Buyer collects unless the buyer lives in Ireland...
