The Things You Are HAPPY About Thread.

Through my speakers. I have a slot for an audio cable - just plug it in and listen away.

Has your car got a USB slot Stan, or how do you play it through your speakers?

One option is an adapter for the phone which transmits the iPhone to a FM frequency that you then pick up on the Radio

Bluetooth is another option, if your mp3 player has it.

I had one (a few years back mind) and I wasn't impressed with the quality, it kept on cutting out, or poor quality etc.

They may have improved now though, but I do remember it was a struggle trying to find free space on the radio to transmit on

The one we got about 2 years ago was fine. No issues with the quality or cutting out. It was only a cheap Belkin thing as well.

Mine was about 7 years ago thinking about it, bought it on ebay direct from China.....

Probably explains it

The one I had years ago was shit as well. The frequency kept drifting so you had to keep fiddling with it.

I've had a USB port on the front of my car stereo for donkeys years. All I listen to in the car is podcasts or music off that.

After a long couple of months The Dublin Drummer and I are meeting up for a meal and several pints, the same night as I'm taking a rescued Westie to its new owners...

A Double Barrelled Happy!

Looking forward to it..

And it seems that my other son has got himself a job in the UK after packing Luton in ( a good move, isn't Luton something of a huge pustule on the boil on the arse of England?) to come over here for a job that lasted 6 weeks...

So that's a triple barrelled happy thing...

Who or what is 'The Young Guard Dog'? It isn't a pet name for your penis is it? That would be even more strange than referring to yourself as a dog in 3rd person.

I was writing a script last night and was in 3rd person mode. Add that to the good things as well

Add talking in 3rd person to good things?

And what was this script? Planning a documentary type film depicting your life?

After a catastrophic double hard drive failure on our main file server, I can happily report that our school's cash reporting system is now back up and running, just in time for the auditors!

My daughter's voice on the phone just now when she told me she'd got a level 5 in all her Year Six SATS.

I couldn't give two hoots what her marks were, but it's made her extremely happy - and by extension, me.

Congratulations to your daughter SLA, I found out when I got home last night that my son had achieved the same.

He's happy, as his his younger brother who got top marks for effort even if he is slightly behind the expected level at the end of year one. Its amazing how his school make reference to him missing 20% of the school year in his report as a reason for him faling slightly behind (he had glandular fever) but didn't mention anything about the chaos created in his schooling by having 4 different class teachers in the year. Add onto that the failed OFSTED report, the deputy head and the head going on sick leave (both ended up retiring) and a new head (the head at my other sons school) being brought in to the sort the whole thing out, I think he's done well and I'm happy.

Just come back from the park with my son - had an absolutely brilliant time teaching him the basics of football. He never stopped smiling.

An action shot - check out the cultured right foot:

Seems soppy, but mornings like this one are absolutely priceless.
