I'm not going anywhere for a long time yet.

One of my mates has had his own house since we were about 20-21, working for the fire service he got some help through different schemes they had and took advantage of an offer they had going on the new houses they were struggling to sell, lucky bastard. Think the scheme he could get on through work meant he could get something like a 95% mortgage, forgot who with but it wasn't so much applying for one as just asking and they give it to you, then there was some deal with the house builders that they'd pay half of whatever you had to stump up for the deposit, think he only had to put about £3-4k down himself. Then he's rented out one of the spare rooms to different people pretty much since he moved in so he's not putting pretty much all his wages into mortgage payments, worked out pretty well for him.

Even better for him now he's working from Wednesbury fire station instead of Cradley Heath, its about a 40 second walk from his front door, saving plenty on fuel.

Yeah he's fantastic. Currently working on transcribing Early In the Morning to guitar. Also, there is a new Les Paul Studio Custom in the house, so I've had few beers and cranked up some Zeppelin on it. Its Cherry red, plays like a dream, I'll post some pictures of it.....

Yes, please do. I've been playing one in the guitar shop in Birmingham a few times recently. Very nice. Lovely thin neck. Sadly I can't justify the purchase, and I'm more of a Fender kind a guy.

Actually, it was a Les Paul Junior that I've been playing with. It reminds me of my old Gordon Smith, which was my first proper guitar and one of my best.

This is my current weapon of choice. G&L ASAT Tribute. Hands down the best neck I've ever owned.

The best neck I ever played was on this. Fender Telebration Modern Thinline. My 'I've won the lottery and money is no object' first purchase, I imagine.

She came 8th and there were 5 jobs so she was unsuccessful unfortunately. Means we are now indeed moving to Nottingham where she is doing a Masters degree.
