The Things You Are HAPPY About Thread.

Just cooked myself a lovely dinner, first time and it tasted lovely. Quite proud of myself.

Are you still alive ????

Actually that is probably the most stupid comment I have posted on here. You will only be able to reply if you are alive....sorry!

I was going to do a part-time MA this year but ended up deferring until October 2014 - I think I need a break as I did my GCSEs, A-levels and degree in one swoop.

This is why I didn't do my PGCE straight after uni. I'd gone GCSEs, A-Levels, Degree, teaching in Germany, back to final year of Degree, I felt I needed a break from the education system. And now it's 2013 and I still haven't done it.

I have been strongly advised to do it this year, mind. Now I am better health wise I am seriously considering it. It's too late to start in September but I am really thinking of kicking it off in January all things being well.

Oh, and in happy news, really pleased today to finish the project I was working on and have it all signed off by the people who are paying for it. I've had to work bloody hard for it so satisfying to have it done after an intense but ultimately rewarding couple of weeks.

Fortunately I am! Was quite nice actually, did far too much for myself though so there was quite a lot thrown away sadly.

Pretty much why I got my applying out of the way this year as if I didn't apply now I probably never would have. Apparently PGCEs are quite on the demanding side, though.

That people on this Forum put up with me, and humour me, and see my sense of humour for what it is . A bit of fun. And if you cant have a bit of fun then we may as well be fucked.

I've finally left the office for the week, done over 60 hours this week, looking forward to actually seeing my family the weekend!

That my sister has just messaged me to say she's in the Wolves shop getting me a few things to bring over for me .I love my sister :)

Off out for a couple of beers with the other half, whilst Nanny looks after the terrible twosome, nice to spend a couple of hours with the bride on our own. It's no where special and it won't be for long but it's the first time in a long time we can enjoy each others company having a drink, and that'll be pretty special enough.

Oh and it's even better with Wolves winning again!
