The Things You Are HAPPY About Thread.

Yes I do. All I did was put in my BT Infinity username and my Sky viewing card number and a couple of other details on BT Sport's website and it added it to my Sky package. It restarted another 12 month contract with BT but you won't need to worry about that.

I assume if you sign up with them you can ask them to add your Sky info at the same time. Or if not you can do it the same as I did as soon as your broadband is activated.

Hmm.. not sure if I'm going to bother yet TBH - I can't get infinity yet (though it's due anytime on my road) and it'll cost me an extra £10 a month with line rental stuck on top. Doesn't seem like much but it all adds up. Really wish you could have broadband without the need for a phone line with it though - we NEVER use ours. In fact, I don't think we've even got a handset.

We have no choice but to have Virgin Media - to have a Sky/BT line fitted in my house was £200!

Go to Nottingham, Hamlet.

Fantastic city to study and live in. I moved there 5 years ago and love it.

The above reminds me - anyone else remember the old UCCA/PCAS books you used to select university etc?
They always had a male to female student ratio for each university.
IIRC almost everyone wanted to go to Nottingham, because the ratio was something like 45 female to every male student!

So, er, yeah, go to Nottingham Hamlet!:icon_biggrin:

Woohoo, just heard that BT sport and Virgin media have stuck a deal for Virgin subscribers to get the sports channels for free.

Lucky Mrs Rov, more Premier League to watch!

Cracking news that, i was gutted that ESPN had gone and that we weren't getting BT Sport.

Oh and well done Hamlet, take you time and choose whatever you think you will enjoy the most.

Only just got in from work, so only just noticed Hamlets news, congratulations matey !!

Early birthday present from my mate: a ticket to the Friday at Moseley Folk Festival. Ocean Colour Scene are headlining playing Moseley Shoals from start to finish. Cannot WAIT! That's really cheered me up. :)

I have mate, i pay about £112 a month.

£112 a month??? Bloody hell! I hope you spend 75% of your day watching telly while surfing the net and the other 25% on the phone!

I pay about £40 a month for Sky TV and unlimited broadband (although I don't have the sport or movie channels).

Just cooked myself a lovely dinner, first time and it tasted lovely. Quite proud of myself.

Well, I have gone for Nottingham but since I hadn't expected to get in in the first place I'm...a little bit late on accommodation applying (it was actually open since March!) I'll be lucky to get the area I want but it's still likely I'll get an area to live in so no worries there...hopefully! The more I've thought about it the more set I am on Nottingham and Natural Sciences :D

What a bitter individual you are MP. Life must hold nothing for you. Other people must pity you.
