Twelve days on from the operation and I am finally in a place where pain killers are no longer a necessity. The pain is controllable by mind over matter and back to the hospital to see the specialist tomorrow. Hopefully that will bring an end to being confined to the house and having my ankle elevated.

Watching an opposing player spit the dummy at my pool match tonight. He lost position on his last ball before the black, so he kicked the table, punched the wall and then threw his cue on the floor when he eventually lost. I LOVE beating people like that. Then you shake their hand and say "unlucky mate" :icon_lol:

He then offered one of the blokes at the bar out because they said "Grow up, it's only a game!".

I'm moving onto a permanent 6-2 shift at work instead of rotating with 2-10 every other week. Hurrah! I didn't even have to apply for it either, HR and their occupational helath people decided it might help my Ulcerative Colitis by being on a regular eating/sleeping pattern. Result.
