The Things You Are HAPPY About Thread.

QUOTE=Dublin Drummer Wolf;461406]Happy to be goin for lunch with the unbelievable 19yr old I pulled at the weekend. Especially as my 32 yr old housemate had pulled a 20 yr old on Friday and was giving me loads for a lack of any action of late. Im off work today and there is an ice bucket on the roof terrace with a bottle of wine in it that shall be put to good use today.[/QUOTE]

You are not allowed to torment us older guys :killa:[

19yr olds are , in theory, of an age when they could be my grand daughter!

It's hard when your brain says 25, but the mirror says somewhat older.

Thank you to the couple I met in the lift today at the hospital. He was from Kent and she was from Liverpool. They had flown over to be with their son who was having surgery today. A lovely couple , who although must have been worried sick about their son, helped make the day not so stressful for me and helped in more ways than they could ever know . Wishing Tim a speedy and successful recovery .

I was going to comment on "groin for lunch".

But then I realised that I'd misread it.

Bon appetit.

Since becoming a proud father I have taken a back seat from the band. I do miss it, but there is no way I would sacrifice my evenings with Bea to go to band practice and then lose my weekends to gigs.

So I told the rest of the band that they should carry on gigging without me but to keep me in the loop with new material as I can write from home once the little'un is fast asleep (which she does from 7pm til 7am every time now!! :D). We've been working on a new song and I have just found out that we're booked in for a day in a recording studio during Whitsun week to record it!

It's all part of a Rock School course that we were chosen for by Kidderminster college, so we get the recording day for free.

Can't bloody wait to be in the band again, even if it's just for one day.

I agree with the call you've made mate.
My boss is a workaholic. Works all sorts of hours, including from home.
Was told a story recently when son ran up to him & said "dad, you & mom are always working. Why can't you come and play football with me?"

Must've ripped the poor guys heart out. You never get this time with them again. Blink, and you'll miss it.

Called out a mobile mechanic to replace a spring on my car cost me only £70 after ATS in Heath Hayes quoted me £115 for one spring.

I thought it might have been Tit Monday yesterday actually.

It's close though.

Yeah, definitely not today.

It was in March last year FFS! A Thursday IIRC.

WTF are you all on about?

Its the first day of the year that its warm enough for folk to shed all of their winter layers and appear outside in something that is generally more appealing to the eye. I will find the exact definition as its in here somewhere.

Just found out I've been added onto the guest list for the James gig in brum tomorrow evening.
Kudos to my mate...

Mr Penguins fingers are moving normal again, even made the cup of tea this morning. Sometimes it's the little things in life that makes us happy.
