Puts us in a bit of a hole as we're back to having wingback issues. Hopefully there's a back up target to sort that out (not Clucas).

It does seem a bit odd if he's been told he's not going to get any game time at City. If he was getting regular appearances off the bench and just wanted to fight for his place, I'd understand that but it does seem strange to basically have to sit out a season.

If we were looking at using him as a wingback, he 100% would be.

It's just a lack of ambition, really- the guy's already been told he won't be playing this season, so he's going to waste a year at a critical time in his development. What a waste.

If a player is happy to sit on his arse and not play, that say's more about him than anything.
he's being really badly advised and obviously has no ambition to play football, deserves it if his career now falters to an end.

he's 22 he needs to be playing, if he does not play for the next 3 years, he'll not get a decent move at 25 with hardly any appearances.

Rose is already in discussion over a loan deal to Schalke- we could do worse than to try and hijack that.

That also totally fails to appreciate how many of those signings were on loan last season.

Boly, Vinagre, Jota, Bonatini and Afobe take it down to 6 "new" signings of that 11 he mentions, we've also not retained Alf and sold Douglas and Afobe, so his post is just ignorant, it's a net amount of 3 "new" signings.
