Yep and has been for a while. Played regularly on a Lions tour but gets mucked about by England. Go figure.

Good start to the 6 nations, Ireland great start, 17-3 up with France down to 14, but France with a terrific end to the first half. You'd expect Ireland to pull away second half with the extra man.

And pull away we eventually did . Winning on French soil was rare for us until quite recently , now we have a fighting chance most years .
The French panicked a lot this evening when under pressure , making a whole series of mistakes .
A fantastic win by any measure.

As said the World Cup probably fooled the RFU that England were on the up. Just a case of whether Italy can last the pace for 80 minutes.
