Yeah Wales were well lucky in the end, but they had the game won in the 1st half, we were too slow to get going, and the Welsh defence was solid

Barnes could very easily have given a second penalty try to Ireland when he gave that scrum to Wales. I was hugely surprised by that call. Less so by the final offside call which I think was just about fair enough.

Well done to Wales that strong first 20 mins was the difference to get ahead then brilliant defence plus working out the Irish lineout and stopped the kicking game. Wales forced mistakes out of Ireland.

Glad people are commenting on Barnes (I was going to post something on it in the first half but thought it would sound like sour grapes), always always makes the game about himself, suppose only thing in his favour is that he is as bad for both sides.

I didn't think he was TOO bad today. I have seen him deliver some absolute shockers for entire games but today he seemed to be consistent, until that scrum Wales call which was marginal at absolute best. When he blew his whistle I had resigned myself to him running under the posts again to be honest.

Next week will be interesting as all 3 go mad looking for points. Would say England favourites now.

I'm not convinced we'll win by a particularly large margin later. I expect us to come out on top, but can see it being fairly attritional stuff.

We have Italy so that is a plus but we have quite a points margin to make up. Ireland are still favourites for me as England are playing France and they have to play Scotland.
