The Rugby Thread

Yes! Don't know how we're winning this.

Precisely!!

Only teasing.

Anyway, get on and win this will you. Piss poor France side playing above themselves.

One of the great kicks there off that penalty. Find touch anywhere you mook

Phew. Got away with that BIG TIME. We were rubbish. Take the points, move on.

A win - a spawny win, but a win nonetheless

Will need to play better than that if we want to win this tournament

We're massively in the driving seat now even though we were cack today. Ireland lost, if Pad is sceptical about Wales' chances then you know they are in trouble because I have seen him big up some truly awful teams ;)

Scotland won't realistically be in a fight for the title.

Couple of years before the Rugby World Cup - good as doubt that some of the Southern Hemisphere teams will be quaking in their boots after that

Well we beat two of them in the last couple of months and last time I checked we beat Australia 3-0 away last summer too, so they can do whatever they like in their boots.

The All Blacks are a different proposition altogether of course, even if we play at our absolute best at the moment they are way clear of us.

We have made very light work of Australia and South Africa in the past 18 months, we're riddled with injuries also.
Can't great always but at least we still won.

Bloody immigrants coming over here and winning our rugby games.
France bottled that imo. Luckily all our replacements stepped up in the last 20.

Good to see Haskell back, thought he was immense when he came on. A back row of Haskell, Hughes and Maro could do some serious damage.

Well yes, but baring a miracle I doubt he will play next week.

Ah, thought you were talking in general about the back row, not next week - yes, Wood had a poor game yesterday, with some brainless penalties - Haskell is a big upgrade.

I'd really like to see last year's back row of Haskell, Billy & Robshaw reunited, but I'm not sure that will happen for a very long time, if ever.

I think Wood has had his chance again, he player ok in the autumn but it's time to move on there are a few young players coming through who deserve a go.
