Play-offs for the Pro 12 sorted
Leinster v Ulster
Connacht v Glasgow

Hard to know who will come out as eventual winners Glasgow looked favourites until the weekend when they fucked up, so losing out on a home semi-final, suspect they will still come through in the end.

Most glaring thing is it shows the state of club rugby in Wales with no qualifiers for the play-offs, and I am fairly sure there will only have 1 side in the H Cup next year (Scarlets)

The Sam Underhill saga continues:-

Eddie Jones says "we've still got the situation that he plays outside of England, and we've got to sort that situation out. I think we are coming to a resolution, and there is no doubt he will be selected in the England squad in the next six months."

Now Ian Ritchie says England are keen to solve Sam Underhill selection issue -

No tours for him then?

I wouldnt worry about him too much, he has had a hard season the rest will no doubt do him good, watched him in the Ulster/Ospreys game at the weekend (admittedlly only 1 game)and he didn't look the player he was earlier in the season, played alot for his first season.

Yes I agree with you. He was fine the 1st half, but kept losing the ball in the tackle just before he was taken off.

Quins lose the European Challenge Cup 19-26 to Montpellier.

Saracens are leading at half-time 12-6 on a very soggy pitch in Lyon.

Fantastic performance by Saracens. Get the feeling that they could dominate English and European rugby for a good few years. A really good core of young English players too.

Mike Ford to leave Bath at end of season.

Wonder how this will affect son George?

Depends a) on who they get in (Meyer yes please, Lancaster no thanks) and b) if anyone comes sniffing around his contract.

It won't be about money though as the owner of Bath is fucking minted.

Pat Lam from Connacht linked with post at Bath as well.

From what I read and heard elsewhere and the rumours flying about, it wont affect George at all, he is more then happy for the old man to leave, they were not getting on at all

There's something not quite right about Ford at the moment, even Eddie Jones offered to let him have a few days off, although he declined it and has stayed with the squad. I hope he can sort himself out before the tests, but if not, then we have other top-class alternatives.

Joe Marler taking the summer off, so won't be touring.

So Mako and Mullen? Weller?

Good 1st half in the first playoff game between Leinster and Ulster. Score 13-11.
