Isn't it a procedural thing? Staff get made redundant for the Duchy before being re-employed by the crown.Majority of Charles Clarence House staff being made redundant could be up to 100, due to them not being needed now he’s king, and moves into buck house.
Got told the good news just after a memorial service for the queen.
Been talked about for a while.Wife told me that (I believe for at least the 2nd time) Charles is considering moving out of Buck Palace cause he doesn't want to live there, and opening it up for the public. don't know where she read/heard/saw that...
30 years of being a Housing Officer made me the same! It’s the ‘great’ British public being the usual fucking idiots.
I’d love a job where I didn’t have to deal with them, or a job that lets you punch at least one of them a week when you’ve had enough of dealing with them.
30 years of bus driving makes you like that.
What's he done now?I know it's his mother but the nonce really does have no shame.
That’s terrible, I’ll have to wait a whole extra week, before I can be aware of what they are and what they do.Was hoping this wasn't going to happen, but to be fair it's only to be expected:

I thought he'd been stripped of his duties as a result of being a nonce?Presume it's because he has been named as 1 of the 5 who would step in and do the Kings duties when he is ill or on a tour outside of the UK

Interesting history of polling on there, it appears that support for the Monarchy is falling, decade on decade.
I wonder how long it will be before there is a serous debate on whether we have one moving forward.
However the way that any negativity towards the Monarchy is currently being suppressed by the media and the police suggests it may be a lot further away than it should be.
