The drop off of Foden is just bizzare, a lot saying Tuchel won’t have learnt much tonight.
He absolutely will that most that started that are squad players at best or will offer nothing in 3 months time.
Secondly Uruguay are the type of teams you own play if you have to.
The officials are getting a lot of stick in the media and rightly so. Sometimes it’s over the top but in this case it’s justified as they were an absolute shambles to a point they’ve aloud players to be endangered.

I think TAAshould be in the squad, however he isn’t the absolute baller and game changer that HW is making out.
Basically any player Liverpool connected always gets a favourable opinion from him.

His assists record is outstanding and he could definitely provide some positives in the attacking part of the game. The issue is his defending at times, and Tuchel is clearly not convinced.

There's valid reasons to leave Alexander-Arnold out of a starting lineup and Southgate struggled to make him work but I'd have him as an option every single time over Spence and White, he's far better than both. Feels like one of those where manager wants to stamp his mark by leaving out a big name player.

I wouldn’t be surprised if there were unofficial guidance from the FA to pick home based players wherever possible too.

I dunno, he called up Quansah and Tomori and if that were the guidance, they're two players that are very easy to ignore.

If he doesn't fancy him then that's fine, that's the kind of decision he gets paid to make, if James is fit (stop laughing at the back) then it isn't a question anyway.

Tomori is a good example of someone who was ignored for a weirdly long time. We’ve been playing Dan Burn ffs

Our only triumph came off the back of 'wingless wonders' and famously leaving out the greatest English footballer of all time. It's odd that not a single manager in my 40 years watching football has taken heed of that. The encouraging thing about Tuchel is he talked about the necessity of building a team from day 1. I'd be genuinely very excited for the World Cup if it wasn't being held in fascist cuntland.
