Couldn't you just about scrape through a group on 2 points?

Say one team wins all 3 games, and the games between the rest end in draws would leave a table of 1 side on 9 points, and three sides on 2. Would then go goal difference (defeat by least goals in effect to top side)

Yes or as f they all lost by the same amount goals scored so high scoring draw preferred, then drawing of lots. There may even be some count back to number of wins in qualification. World cups have covered this sort of thing before,usually favouring the top sides

Didn't the swiss do it fairly recently? 3 0-0 games in the group, progressed, then 0-0 and lost on penalties. IIRC they were the first team knocked out without conceding a goal in normal play? Might have been on the euro's though.

No, Chile are definitely the only team to go through with three points in this format.
