The Race to be Relegated 24/25 Thread

We've had way worse teams in way stronger bottom halves with worse managers and stayed up.

It's being entirely unrealistic to fret about it.
Yeah I know but it’s difficult to change a habit of a lifetime.
Keep it up though, I thrive on other peoples positivity. 😉

Objectively there's more chance of us finishing above Man Utd than finishing below Ipswich.

I just think there's a difference between natural nerves/pessimism, and performative "we're going to lose every single game for the rest of the season and Ipswich will double their entire tally of wins this season in the next 6 weeks" stuff.

Lage and O'Neil were both APPALLING at the end of their respective only full season in charge. Even they managed 5 points apiece from the final 8 games.

Back in the real world, since the start of February we have 13 points from 7 games.

Southampton on track to officially secure their Championship place for next season.

They've been relegated with more games left to play than the infamous Derby County side.

On a free, homegrown, decent age. Him and Lima competing might be adequate rather than outstanding.
He's available on a free? I'd take him in that case.

Obviously still a risk, but a much lower one.

If he flops, perhaps we have a CB that can play the right sided Toti role to sure up the defence.

Sorry, who we talking about?
