The Race to be Relegated 24/25 Thread

Thought he was just knackered rather than injured? If he’s out as well, God knows what Vítor would play.
He'd just play Hwang through the middle with Sarabia on the right and A.N.Other on the left. Whoever's fit.

Ipswich defenders Axel Tuanzebe and Cameron Burgess went off injured at half time this evening

Obviously we're better with our best players available, but I recall Neves missing a whole chunk of games a couple of seasons back and we picked up more points without him than with.

It will be very interesting to see how we manage without Cunha . Players need to step up .

If you watch several of our attacks in most matches ,all the forwards/attacking wing backs , tend to constantly look for and give the ball to Cunha - because he looks for it .
He won't be there to ask for it now for at least 3 matches - it's a different dynamic and you can be sure that Pereira will be pointing that out , time for all others to stand up and take responsibility .
I wouldn't be all doom and gloom about it at all - I think players will respond and we won't suffer as much as some here are suggesting .

It's a critical time of the season as well - You can be certain that VP will be pointing that out too .

Will Cunha take off to Brazil for the few weeks or stay here one wonders . I would think he'll be asked to stay and help out where he can .

Will the so called wonderkid Mathues Mane be on the bench for the foreseeable future. Will we ever see another Robbie Keane at Molineux ?

I hadn't even considered the prospect of us letting him go home for a few weeks. I mean I guess there's some sense to it, rest is rare commodity for footballers and pragmatically you've got to make the best of any situation, but I'm just far too petty too let that get in the way. I'd have the prick at Compton 9-5, and when he's not on the training pitch have him cleaning the canteen until he can be a footballer again.

His partner is pregnant, so allowing some family time may be a good thing all round tbh. He's also allegedly carrying a sore hamstring.

Vitor will have a team to focus on now. Very likely Mane, or someone similar may get a few minutes, as Hwang is coming back from an injury, and risks being broken again if playing 90 mins. JSL also needs managing carefully on his return.

A lot of peeps are worried about the ipswich game. I am less so in a way. Vitor has to earn his corn with that game imo. Ipswich have beaten us twice owing to their coach out thinking O'Neil. Vitor should have the ability to organise us so that doesn't happen (I hope!)

Reality is we may need to use Forbs. Off the bench at least any way.

We better hope that Guedes and Rodrigo are fit for the weekend then.

Not sure if he’s able to be a serious option on the left, but Pedro Lima might be an option there with RAN in a forward three.

Lima always impresses me when he plays, has pace and a decent delivery. Not sure why his minutes have been so limited.

I’d rather see this than Guedes or Sarabia in that wide left position - I think both have checked out and Everton will be too physical for either of them.

Vitor not fully trusting of him. Pointed out his weakness after the Forest game.

However I have more faith in Vitor and his team working with Lima to sort that out than our previous coach.

Ipswich oblige to lose again, so we just need to make sure we don't lose tonight and it should be another good weekend. Can't see Leicester getting anything at Stamford Bridge tomorrow.
