The Race to be Relegated 24/25 Thread

However it is just other users that can do it.

It's not "fact" checking as such.

No surprises the club was at its best when you didn’t hear much from them and they just went about things quietly. Annoying to the press as they can’t generate a good story outside of football.
We’re a media dream at the moment constant stories of unrest, ill discipline and players ruling the roost, head coach public slatings, We’re basically a chaos club.
It’s evident that we can generate long conversations on here about things none football but still related to the club.

Strong rumours that RVN has/is about to resign. Seems Leicesters owners have pulled a Shi over tbe transfer budget for Jan

If that's true, and they get Dyche, we're actually fucked.

If he resigns then they don’t have to pay compensation unless RVN claims they’ve breached an original agreement, leaves them open to parachute Dyche in.
Dyche would be fucked at Leicester being as their squad is so poor.

A good manager will make Leicester's players better. At least they’ll be organised, much like we saw when VP came in. How much better they will be as a result remains to be seen but changing RVN is unlikely to do them any harm. Not good for us.

Dyche wouldn't work at Leicester for the same reason Cooper didn't. Because their players have been bought for the football Maresca wanted. High counter pressing and possession based build-up.

They'd have to go for some European manager who tries to play the same way.

I think the "he hasn't got the squad for his style" thing only works if you're asking people to be more progressive, as not everybody can do that. But Dyche could teach the fuckin Globe Trotters how to knuckle down and shithouse 20 points from 17 games

Strange that Everton struggled with that though.

Well they've outperformed us over the last 18 months in PPG as well as goals F&A so he knows what he needs to do. Obviously he's unlikely to get them looking at Europe, but I'd take him over Vitor & Ruud a hundred times out of a hundred from either of our positions

I just wonder if this is a season too far for him and he will take a break until the summer to recharge. i wouldnt take him at Wolves as Dycheball makes the eyes bleed

Q
Is Dyche a good manager?
I’m not sure many other managers would have done better with the players he had at Burnley and Everton. His football is awful but we’ve seen at Burnley under Kompany and Southampton under Martin what happens when you try to make a silk purse from a sow’s ear. I wouldn’t want him at Wolves as I think there’s middle ground whereby you can play better football than Dyche’s teams without going down the full-on tippy tappy pass, pass, pass route.
