The R.I.P. Thread

that's shit man. Blue Lines and Mezzanine are essential parts of my youth, and Massive attack live were really exceptional. Lung cancer apparently.

That's a bold statement there, matey
Both regularly feature in '100 greatest albums' lists. So not that bold a statement. And both are recognised as genre defining albums by many in the music industry. They might not be your genre but they without question are at the peak of what they do.

That's a difficult one for the club to handle delicately given the fans have been calling him every name under the sun for 2 years

Always seemed like a nice bloke and a proper Everton fan, he just couldn't keep up as football moved on.
Hanging onto power by any means possible wasn't a good move, let alone by a sick man. He should have gone when the other Board members resigned. For all his success in the theatre, he presided over the decline of a once great club. They are a complete shadow of themselves these days and have been very fortunate to avoid the drop the last two seasons. RIP Bill. Still a Husband, father and grandfather to others. Feel for them.

He sorted them out after the shambles under Peter Johnson tbf. The whole Moyes era was under Kenwright.

In the days when a wealthy owner could own a football club and have it compete. However, when Moshiri and his mob bought his shares, or the vast majority of, he should have bowed out gracefully instead of hanging on. I guess Kenwright / SJH were the last of their type and football is now owned by huge conglomerates or nations.

Sam Gallop and Jan stangrycuk-black both aged 101 and within a couple of days of each other.
They were the last two surviving members of the original Guinea pig club, which gave pioneering cosmetic plastic surgery to members of the RAF who’d suffered bad disfiguring burns in combat in the Second World War.

Fucking he’ll that’s a shock then again I know he’s struggled for years with MH, drugs as and alcohol

Being reported as an apparent drowning. He was found at his home.

Sounds like a heart attack that then drowning

That's quite a shock. Very young but I know he had lots of problems with addictions that could have affected his heart.
