The R.I.P. Thread

I just read that Sandy Pearlman passed a couple of days back.

Joe, Toby and Sky are in my thoughts today and my prayers this evening

Billionaire Duke of Westminster Gerald Cavendish Grosvenor, worth £9.3 billion, dies aged 64..

Kenny Baker has passed away aged 83.

Met him in Manchester about 15 years ago - he was at a charity do in the room next to our uni ball. Such a lovely bloke - he signed my party invitation 'beep beep - best wishes from R2D2'.

Apparently, the guy who was killed after being tasered by police early this morning in Telford was Dalian Atkinson.

Unbelievable news. RIP.

Very tragic news, does make you wonder what he was doing to be tasered.

Witness on 5 live this afternoon said she saw police kicking him on the floor after he was tasered last night, then his nephew said he was on dialysis. Hope they take their time and investigate this thoroughly.

The Police would have had no way of knowing he was on dialysis when they arrived unless he told them.
Very early stages of the investigation so it's impossible to make any judgement or start blaming anyone.

Former FIFA president Joao Havelange has died aged 100

Good innings, RIP

Former Wolverhampton MP Ken Purchase has died aged 77. Did a lot of good work for our city.

He was very highly thought of for his work. Emma Reynolds was very proud to take over as MP in my constituency.

Gene Wilder has died too. His performance in The Producers is one of my favourites of all time.

Always loved him in Charlie And The Chocolate Factory.
