The R.I.P. Thread

Eddie Large, died from Coronavirus while in hospital.

Anyone who dies that reminds me of my childhood makes me melancholic and this is no different, but boy Little and Large were shite!

Have to disagree Tony they were a lot better than shite. Syd Little still runs the Steamer in Fleetwood and still is rather funny.

Shite is harsh, they were of their time and I quite enjoyed them in my young teens

Was going to say that Little & Large were part of my youth - then realised that he was only 8 yrs older than I am

I want to raise my bat to all stands.

Ain’t no sunshine is such a beautiful song. Sad news.

Lord Bath has died after contracting Coronavirus.

My very first teddy bear when I was really tiny came from Longleat (my grandfather spent a ridiculous amount playing a game to win it) and was called Lord Bath in honour of that day. I still have said teddy bear and one day when I become a grandparent I hope to have said grandchild cuddling that teddy bear that was won in 1974. So this is really sad news for me.

Travel safely to wherever the destination is Lord Bath. You were pretty eccentric and bonkers and the world will miss you.
