Stunning photos.

Very excited to be visiting Porto in April next year.

Porto is a great city to visit, just be careful with the new wave of "gourmet" restaurants that are appearing like mushrooms targeting tourists, not all of them serve good food and are pricey. Ask some advice from the locals around the time that you want to eat and I´m sure they´ll indicate you 2/3 good places to choose from. Also please don´t leave without eating a francesinha.

Thanks guys, also
Do the pics appear cut in half for you?
When I previewed the post they looked fine but now I can only see the left half of the pics...

Lake Louise, my favourite place ever I think. Great pics mate.

Great photos. I remember going to an Italian restaurant on the river in Porto - is it near the bridge in your photo? Really lovely place to visit Porto.

Beautiful stuff cheers Azul.

Nice photos Azul, I'd be mighty proud of that last one in particular.

Out of interest what camera have you got?

Though to say, there are A LOT of restaurants in that area, but most likely yeah it´s one of the most dense area of the city to eat, both on the Porto and Gaia sides of the river.

I was surprised too, didn´t think I could get that much detail from my camera/lens combination, turns out that using HDR and photoshop you can polish so much more your pics that I thought possible with only lightroom.

Nothing fancy, just a Canon 700D, most of my pics were taken with the 18-55 kit lens, when I started taking interest in photography I didn´t know how much I was going to like it so I didn´t want to spend that much. Last year I bought a 10-18 for landscape which was what I liked doing the most (Still is my favourite).
A couple of months ago I bought a tamron 24-70 to replace the 18-55 as a go to lens if I was going to some place and only wanted to have my camera with one lens with me, it´s my first big buy but so much better than the 18-55.

Obviously I´d love to improve my gear, compared to some of my mates you can really tell the limitations, specially at night, but for me right now it´s between getting to travel to cool places or buying good equipment and the answer is simples, I´d rather get the experiences from the trips and I still get to come home with maybe not 5* but still nice pics.

It was on a boat - like an old paddle steamer. Food was good but the view was amazing.

Hope to see more of your photos, really excellent ones so far.

It´s difficult to chose my best one´s so I´ll post a couple from my city

And some from when I went to Wales and Scotland in 2015, at the time I had my camera just a couple of months ago and didn´t really know how to use it. I was there for 11 days in July only got 1 day of rain, was really lucky

I´ve been in Canada last month for 2 weeks but I didn´t have that much time to work on those pics apart from this one, the first time I tried a triple exposure and also used photoshop

Sorry if you have said it before..which camera and lenses do you use? Have you heard of Fujifilm X-T20, less expensive than the X-T2 which is waterproof..if so, is it a good buy? Amazing pictures btw!

For those pics from Scotland Canon 700D 18-55, for the other iirc same camera but with a 10-18.

I´m not an expert by any means to give you that kind of advice but if I´m not mistaken a friend of mine has that model and altought she wants to switch to a better one she´s very happy with it, as a comparison is better than mine in pretty much everything, also is super light and small which is a huge plus for amateurs.
For a much detailed comparison from a quick google search here´s a link that compares a camera similar to mine to the fuji

Cheers for the answer :)

Looks great! Is it true that they don’t let you use a tripod on the bridge? A friend of mine told me that but I never had that problem anywhere, except museums or metro/train stations but that’s understandable

I know there are a few train aficionados on here, so here's a couple of the Flying Scotsman when it came through our village recently
