I'm surprised at how wank Poland have been. Almost impossible to judge Senegal on this, but the result is going to be great news for them in the group table.

I bet on Senegal to win this and looks like I was right! Poland are rubbish, nowhere near as good as their FIFA ranking makes them out to be and Senegal seem like the best African team for sure, far better than shitty Nigeria.

I'd like to see Moussa Konate score, he was really good all those years ago at the 2012 Olympics.

Maybe a bit. It might be 10% Senegal excellent defending and 90% Poland being beyond fucking appalling, I suppose.

It looked one in real time but IMO after seeing the replay it definitely was not.

I want to mention this. Every early trial of VAR was full of reasons why VAR was going to be shit, it just was a mess. But in this tournament it looks to me like they have got the system just about spot on - it really works well here.
