It does however prove that VAR will never remove controversy and in some case it will cause it. It's one if it's given against you it's harsh and if it's not given for you then you're furious.

It plainly wasn’t if you watch it in real time the player who flicks it on is so close to him he has no time to react and do that deliberately.
