It's pretty much as low grade a game as you'll find in the whole tournament, but it does kind of underline how poor international football is these days compared to the elite levels of the club game. You'd never get a match like this in the Europa League let alone Champions League, it's not dull but it's littered with so many basic errors.

For my money part of that has to be down to opening match nerves, surely.
