I get you need to experiment but the team selection is bizarre, tactics questionable. I don't get playing Burn and especially Henderson, those two plus Walker in the squad have really dampened my enthusiasm about Tuchel building a winning squad. I think Madeuke was one of the few trying to create even if not always effective, his inclusion may seem weird but he's done decent for England so far, so I get it.

Senegal will be tricky, hopefully a better test. Not lost since September 2023.

Very stodgy stuff, why play Henderson and Burn it’s pretty obvious that players of that ilk aren’t getting you past elite opponents in tight games.
Just had a feel of the bad days under Hodgson, McLaren and the last days of Fabio.

We've reverted very quickly to having a lot of players in the squad who I don't like at all (was less like that in the Southgate days).

Trafford, Burn, Spence, J Henderson, Madueke and Rashford (the 2025 version of him) can all fuck off.
