Not a huge fan of watching in the pub, but I will do so if needs be. Tonight I will watch at home. Should England make it, I haven't made a decision about Sunday yet.

A big no to England games in the pub for me. Done it dozens of times over the years, the end conclusion is that there are far too many dickheads and it gets far too busy. If it's that or miss the game then obviously I'll do it, but rarely is it ever going to come to that.

I cannot tell you how much I love the Pendulum!

I suppose my thought is that it might be a bit amazing to be part of history in the pub and the atmosphere should the amazing happen could be incredible. The downside is that my beer consumption requirements for a World Cup final with England in it might be somewhat monumental and who wants to spend most of the ninety minutes in a queue at the bar when you can have a fridge full ten feet away at home?

Sadly, no Virgin trains go on my line. At that time of day, it's only West Midlands Trains that run. Or don't, as the case may be.

They have tweeted me back telling me there are no planned delays/cancellations to any service this evening.

Which translates to 'they don't have to tell us they're not working and have every intention of $#@!ing off down the pub rather than coming into work - watch this space, and sharpen your elbows'.

My brother was most helpful. His flight goes at stupid o clock in the morning but he has organised digs for tonight so I could drop him off early today and be back in Wolvo in plenty of time.

He gets in to Brisbane on Friday morning. His only error was in not booking his Monday off work as it kicks off at 1am over there if England make the final. Oooooops.

I'm all done and settled in for the evening now. School run was the last job on the list. Kids have been threatened with removal of pocket money/grounded/all house work/adoption if they try and talk to me during the game

Was more confident earlier on,I've just read that Teresa may is backing us to do well,and we all know how everything she's involved in goes fantastic. Football was coming home,she'll turn it away at the border because 1966 was the last time it came home,and the government wants to know where it's been and what it's been doing since then

Have set up screens for the guys and girls that have to work. All checked and working and supplied some becks blue in the fridge so at least they feel like a party! I will get home about 10 minutes before kick off.
