Belgium started well but there's no structure there. Just some good players sent out to go and play. It'll get you through on quality alone a lot of the time but there's no subtlety to their approach, it's just "give him the ball and hope he does something".

good side france. bit lucky with that free kick on the edge that wasn't given and I hate the timewasting. on the positive side, we were definitely in the best half of the draw!

France are good but I can't say they terrify me. In the one game that they properly opened up and used their attacking players properly, they leaked three goals to a terrible Argentina team.

Ultimately you're never going to play someone totally shit in a World Cup final if you get there.

Tbf i can't really see us getting through tomorrow, just doesn't seem england-like to be through to the final.

That said the way hazard terrified France bodes well if we did play them. Plus our defence is a hell of a lot faster than Belgium's.

The last Semi Final was against clearly the best side in the tournament. This one, it is hard to argue that about Croatia. We shall see tomorrow.
