Indeed, what's happened with RM and Lopetegui has been embarrassing for the Spanish FA but what they've done is far more disruptive to their World Cup campaign, I mean it's not like the players could start angling for moves away knowing the manager was on his bike after the tournament.

Yeah pretty much. They just needed to get on with it even if they did not like what had happened.

Just managed to win the World Cup as England on FIFA, and I must say, I really enjoyed it!

I wasn't aware England played a 5 2 1 2. It was my first time ever using that formation and it worked really well. It lacked a lot of width going forward but with Rose and Walker as the WB's, they were able to get up to support the attacks quickly and even though it was a very narrow midfield it meant that Dier and Henderson just sprayed the ball out wide to either WB.

The squad had loads of depth. My starting 11 was:
Rashford Kane
Sterling
Dier Henderson
Rose Smalling Stones Cahill Walker
Butland

Scored a couple of screamers from outside the area with Dier and by playing a pressing game with a high line, lots of play got broken up in midfield which released Sterling/Alli on the edge of the area and they also scored a few beauts.
I normally play FIFA as Wolves so had never played as Rashford or Kane and they are quality in the box. Give em a chance in the area and they rarely miss.

After being 1 nil down in the Final, Rashford equalised before Sterling scored an absolute worldie to win it. Out swinging corner from Henderson, met by Sterling on the edge of the area who volleyed it in off the crossbar. De Gea couldn't get near it. It was such a screamer I saved the video clip and am very tempted to upload it here :icon_lol:
