The only changes I'd make would be Rose for Young and RLC for Alli.

Young actually did ok last night but I'd still prefer to see Rose there. Alli doesn't look fit so I think RLC would make more of an impact. I'd stick with Sterling because I prefer it when Rashford comes off the bench, plus he's the one player I really want to see score just to shut his critics up for a bit.

The criticism is justified for the most part tbf. Scoring at a rate of less than 1 goal per 20 games is appalling.

Same for me TDan. Rashford didn't exactly do much when he came on, and then should have been the prime time for him against tired players.

So why does Southgate prefer his system of having an extra player higher up the field when it leaves England less compact with fewer passing options.

The BBC highlights show had a replay of the shot from in front of Pickford and it was probably going wide... Showing off for the cameras nearly cost us :icon_lol: :icon_lol:

Saw that, it was going wide.
Also, the BBC showed an earlier incident when Kane was pulled down in the box,that was more blatant than the Penalty awarded.
