Positive first half. A shame our set pieces not been as good tonight. Liking the movement of our forwards to be honest, Colombia defenders look a little unsure what to do when our forwards drop in. Surprised at the stick for Sterling, I think he’s done quite wel personally. My only issue is him dropping too deep too often - often has nothing in front of him. Just needs to vary it

He’s got in good positions but he’s lost the ball numerous times due to a poor first touch, poor passing or just running straight into people. Like I say his movement and pace is excellent but he’s done nothing with it apart from that blocked shot.

Good performance so far. Calm and composed, no panicking. RLC and Rashford should both be good impact subs.

Bunch of dirty bastards, though. Definite red card on the 'head butt' and the Colombia coach acting the cunt. Hope we finish them off in the 2nd half.

Fred - he made contact with an opponent with his head intentionally. It's a red card - this isn't an obscure rule, it's crystal clear. Regardless of the reaction of the opponent - the offence should have been correctly punished. The ref completely bottled it and I fear he's losing control of the game.

Young is clearly shit.
Sterling has been infuriating.
Lingard has been anonymous.

Apart from all that we’re not playing badly at all as a unit and the first half was ours. Clear red card that the ref bottled as well, pathetic decision. One goal will probably be enough in the second half hopefully.

The game's poor. Sterling's got into some great positions only to let his technique let him down. I think Lingard has been OK, linking play and making intelligent runs.

The force, direction of the contact is irrelevant - it's the fact he headbutted him.
