Right guys, surely Argentina can be better than they have shown. How would you play if you had this squad because its obvious Sampaoil doesn't have any idea.

I'd stick with the same defensive unit. It isn't great by any means, but it's the best they can do with what they have.

Banega has to play, as he showed today. Mascherano has to go as he's completely finished, I've got no idea what he's in there to do. Bring in Lo Celso who can play, and doesn't mind the defensive side of the game. You can then either bring in Biglia to sit behind them, or go for it and find room for Dybala. It's incredible how he's barely featuring, he's an extraordinary player.

I'd pick Aguero over Higuain every day of the week too.

I'm with you, but usually extend my hatred to anyone playing for the team. Pulling on that shirt seems to turn fairly normal people into whining cheating wankers.

If I was them I'd be tempted to have an extra defender (maybe even Coady style Mascherano as a sweeper but then he really does look finished). You could either have a front three still or how England are set up with Di Maria as an outside midfielder as I think he is good in that role and Messi playing off of a striker.

In fairness there are several international sides like that but I get your point. For me I can't abide Argentina, Germany France, Portugal. I would back pretty much anyone against them every day every week.it's historical and enshrined in my DNA lol

Yep. I hope we draw 1_1 with Belgium but get a 90 th minute red card for Ashley Young meaning we come second and avoid that clusterfuck!
