The Official FIFA World Cup 2022 Megathread

One pragmatist football manager against a pragmatic football nation.

It's fucking mad, like you can see anybody winning it. England and France are the best teams left, but both very beatable.

But. Still.

It's coming home ay it
Last time England won it, it was in a country where homosexuality was illegal, so yea you may be right.

I appreciate you have a very different perspective from the rest of us
Honestly, I don't really care about the national team. My national teams are Benfica and Wolves. It's nice when the Portuguese national team wins. When they lose? It's alright too. I don't get myself worked up with it.

To put it in perspective, I get more worked up with a Wolves tie on the regular Saturday than a Portugal loss at the World Cup.

Enzo Fernandez been impressive, pretty complete midfield player.

Brilliant from Messi to create that. Good job too as it's been utter dogshit prior to that.

Great pass but I wish the comms would give some credit for the run and finish too.

The wanking over Messi. He doesn't even look! He does. He clearly does.

Fans I expect, pundits are meant to be better.

I've actually enjoyed Molina. He looks like he's never actually played football before at times but he bombs up and down that wing all day.

Dutch goalkeeper has a wingspan according to Keown.

Game over 2-0!
