We've done everything but score!
 
Really pleasing first half (apart from the fact we haven't scored). The only player who is slightly off the pace is Kane, rather worryingly. But other than that - all of them have been brilliant. Rooney spreading the ball around like he's played in the middle all his career.
 
Really impressed with that first half. Rose was excellent.
 
Just hope we don't come to rue the missed chances

Kane looks a little off the pace tonight - room for Vardy to take over for the second half
 
It's good that we know we can bring Vardy on if we need a goal, and go 4-4-2 Diamond as it worked really well against Germany.
 
No need to be hasty with changes at this point - if we carry on playing like that then we'll score sooner or later. Russia aren't really containing us or keeping us at bay, they're barely hanging on.
 
Just need an awareness in front of Rose if Rooney gets caught infield.
 
Been impressed with Sterling and Lallana.
