The Official Euro 2016 Megathread

Well I went to watch GoT expecting to have got back to the other telly seeing England having scraped a comeback and looking forward to the France game. Absolutely staggered.

Hodgson gone and rightly so, gambled on certain players that simply didn't work but the players an absolute disgrace. I wouldn't excuse them of not caring but real lack of charachter. No leadership on the field whatsoever.
 
classic England when they had a chance of pulling it off..and congrats Iceland and swedish Lagerbäck, which you would have couched sweden insted of Hamren actually..
 
Out since 4pm & only just back so missed this mayhem

I knew I would be back to watch the highlights but having seen the score & read your last few comments not going to waste my time!

Eddie Howe for me although Hiddink wouldn't be a bad shout. And on this current championships Michael O'Neill wouldn't have led us to this shambles.

Eddie Howe is a brilliant shout. Even though I don't like him. I'm prepared to be a hypocrite for the good of the national side.

If the new manager can get us a new defence, even better.

No way I'd be going anywhere near England if I were Howe.

Can't see any manager with any sort of potential wanting the job, the players just constantly under perform.

We need to footballing equivalent of Eddie Jones to come in.
 
I can't believe i've watched that tonight, it just screamed of a team with no idea or no clue of how to play the tactics given by the manager and a manager who had no clue about what tactics to play. Just take the equaliser, they had planned for Rooney to mark the man flicking it on, why? How did Rooney last 85 mins and Sturridge and Kane the whole game, plus why did Sterling come off, as much as he has been criticised he was our best player up until Rashford came on. Absolutely fucking fuming at that performance.
 
yeah, the performance were toast..totally expected you to beat Iceland mind..

It's worth it to see how unbelievably bad were. Who would have thought that Sturridge as a right winger would be as effective as campaigning for Brexit but without a plan of what the Fuck to do afterwards.
