Vazquez has made a huge difference. Bit of pace was what Spain needed.

Absolutely bloody delighted after spending the past few days bemoaning our luck in drawing Spain. It was an excellent performance, very much like the one against Belgium, same with the 2nd goal so late again

I love watching that sort of football when it's played right, big lad up top to act as a platform to build from, people knocking it into them and then pushing on for the return pass, the modern way to use a target man, shame Jackett can't seem to figure that out with his obsession for big units up top.

Spot on, I don't think Ken has a clue how to use a target man. That's why I don't want us to sign one, we'd just lamp the ball at them.

And a different performance too. I don't think Spain were ready for the pressing of their 2 CB's and full backs. I think they expected the Italians to sit back and let them have the ball. Del Bosque got that spectacularly wrong.
 
No problem with that decision, but the keeper should never be making that challenge.
