Top quality picking up of Draxler there. That's pretty much some of the worst marking I've ever seen.

Quite. Englands performances have on the surface looked good but we've been piss poor in the final third and unless we get an early goal tomorrow Iceland will just need to park the bus and ride it out to pens.
 
That looked a good tackle by Hummels, but not only was he penalised, but he got a yellow card as well.

I think you're going too far there.

You can't call that 'marking', his man might have well been in the stands complaining about the shit defending to the bloke stood next to him.

I would assume that Roy has been working on the finishing during training as a priority.

Saying we couldn't break Slovakia down simply isn't true. We did, several times. But our finishing was rubbish. Let's hope they improve on that tomorrow.
 
Vardy scores after 5? minutes you have a very different game. The brainless way we went about the last 20 is what worries me.

I think England will have enough tomorrow to unlock them. Pace is the key for me. 2-0 at least
 
I just keep having this feeling that if it clicks we will be hard to stop! I hope so anyway, tomorrow would be a good time to start..

Whatever happens now I'm very optimistic, not just by the talent coming through (there is a huge amount between 14-21 to look forward too if the pathways are right) but by the style of play. Hodgson has done a really good job in progressing that, even if there are some things that could be better.

Yeah I've been very pleasantly surprised by our setup of late. We could really do with an early goal tomorrow.
 
Hungary finding their feet a little in the last 5 minutes. Then what is Mertens doing there? Golden opportunity wasted
 
Can't see Wales stopping Belgium. They look so much better than they did v Italy. They should be out of sight.

Hungary are letting them play though, they are giving them so much room to play and Wales won't allow them that just as Italy didn't let them. Belgium will be favourites because they have a lot of quality but Wales know they can beat them and will be happy to play on the counter.
