Watched it this morning. Good job it wasn't close as the recording cut off with 5 minutes to go because of all the other bollocks.
Has it come out that Maye a damaged shoulder as the comms were DESPERATE to give him the excuse. Darnold was pretty poor, under/overthrows in big situations, but he didn’t turn the ball over which was all that was required I guess. Seattle are a young team so won't be losing many players and although they are losing their OC it's the other side of the ball that's more important for them. I can see them making it back again next year if they can stay healthy and navigate their division.
In Maye's defense, the left side of New England's offensive line got absolutely brutalized. Talented guys out there, but still rookies. Drake made some tough throws, enough that I'm not sure there's a hard conclusion to draw one way or the other on him.
I'm willing to give both defenses more credit than blame on the offenses in this one. Seattle were just able to keep enough drives going that they wore down New England, and then suddenly they'd scored 29 points when it felt like they had 17 at most. The constant 3-and-outs from New England snuffed out their chance to win, IMO.
I don't know if this is true (I really hope it is); apparently, Bad Bunny covered 124.4 yards during his performance, almost 50 more yards than the Patriots gained rushing.
The latest instalment of Americans are weird. You've just reached the pinnacle of your career, you've probably get a belly full of beer, you certainly haven't been to bed, but off to Disney you must go.
