The NFL Thread

On to other things.
Tomorrow I'm flip flopping on both games, but am leaning towards Broncos and Rams. I think the Broncos D will do enough to get it done and Maye in the play offs hasn't impressed me. Seattle should win, their defense is brutal and dome teams are 0-15 in Championship games outside (I read this, not fact checked), but with Charbonnet out and losing their twin headed running game I just can't get behind Sam Darnold

Inclined to agree. Originally thought Seahawks and Pats, but agree Broncos D can do enough to slow down Maye, and Rams can win with both O and D.
Am leaning Broncos and Rams, but would not be surprised to get both wrong.

Everything I hear keeps having the Patriots being underestimated, so I'd be putting my money on them winning the whole lot.

The whole loss of Nix is being completely ignored from what I'm reading (not specifically on here) and the fact Stidham hasn't thrown a football competitively in over two years can't be a positive despite the whole Payton QB whisperer stuff.

The Patriots already overcame the best defence in the league and I can see them doing the same to the Broncos, whose running game isn't good enough to win them the game with a backup QB

Or it could be just be I think Payton to be a colossal bellend so hope he gets burned spectacularly 😂

The other game is more of a coin flip. The Rams already turned over the Seahawks fairly recently so could certainly do it again. Darnold is still potentially injured and I can't see the Rams being as easily run on as the depleted Niners were last week.

So Pats against Rams in Santa Clara it is.

Charbonnet I heard was going to be a game time decision. I’d bet he gets a few snaps; not his normal workload, though.

I have a gut feeling that Seattle is going to smoke LA, bad. No real logical reason; logically, it should be a really tight game. Maybe I just want Darnold to win.

I genuinely have no idea where I decided I heard that from.
