The NFL Thread

Watching Red Zone with the kids. Feel like I'm being bashed over the head continually. Id rather watch a proper game with full on adverts.

The Rodgers revenge game has started well for him, despite being sacked on the first play.

I'd quite like to watch the Giants as that pass rush has a chance to be elite. But avoiding anything to do with the 5 gameshow bollocks.

Yep watching the bucks v falcons on sky and enjoying it more

I wish it was as good as NHP.

And I think half naked in the jungle is how Sam Quek got the gig...

So apparently they ran out of games to play during the actual NFL game, so the last 40 minutes has just been adverts whenever there's been a break in the game? 🤦‍♀️

Steelers win! Fields could have easily just picked up the three yards needed on the ground there instead of passing it.

And now they're actually talking about the football, it's... okay (apart from the cheesehead ofc...).
Sam doing about as okay as any British host with no link to the game 🤷🏼‍♂️

Decent days football. Bit of controversy at the end of the Titans game over a slightly dubious roughing the passer call which gave the Broncos a first down meaning the Titans only ended up getting the ball back with a minute left.

Probably would have made little difference though, as when they did get it back Ward was let down by his receivers dropping two very makeable catches.

No particularly great games on paper in the early window today, but some excellent close finishes.

Russel Wilson dialing back the years with a rainbow to give the Giants a late lead in Dallas.

Brandon Aubrey nails a 64 yard field goal to take it to OT.

Field goal as the clock expired in regulation time to force OT, then another field goal to win the game as the clock expired in OT.
I really dislike the cowgirls.

As I'm here fleetingly and this is the thread I really miss. My pre season bet for the SB was the Bills to beat the Packers. Philly will win the NFC East but lose to the Packers in the play offs

Yeah the NFL thread has lost a fair few of the regular posters the last 18 months or so unfortunately.

Obviously it's still early but both those teams have had impressive starts, and the Parsons trade could push the Packers over the edge. Still not 100% sold on Jordan Love though, but they have all the tools if he can continue to play the guitar.

The Rams D completely owning the Eagles so far. Eagles zero passing yards in the first half.*

* Eagles win it in the second half thanks to Hurts and two blocked field goals. Rams left so many points on the field in the first half game should have been comfortably done by half time.

Trouble in H-town.
O-line even worse than last year, new OC has brought nothing, Stroud off form, no run offence.
0-3 and first loss in Jacksonville in 8 years.
