The NFL Thread

Fitting that the defence gets the pick 6.
14 point deficit looks like a mountain for the Chargers.
Herbert threw 3 interceptions all season. 2 so far today.

God bless DeMeco Ryans honestly.

It’s wild how little he’s aged since 2005 (when he was still in college at Alabama, winning 14 Year Old Alan’s heart).

It's what happens when you're relying on Will Dissly as a second receiver.

Three picks all year then three in one game.

A couple of them were properly bad; Herbert just doesn’t seem quite right this evening. Awful time to lay an egg, as you say.

There seems to be a trend toward young (and young looking) NFL HCs.
Ryans has given the Texans a lot of confidence, but is still learning.

Pressure I guess, but the Chargers have a serious lack of offensive weapons particularly at WR. Only McConkey has shown any consistency all year and Quentin Johnston has been a pretty big bust as a first round pick.

Oh yeah, hyperbole intentional. I always knew he’d be a great defensive coach, but as a head coach it’s too early to call. The step up from coordinator to coach is unbelievably tall.

Back to back sacks followed by a huge play by McConkey. Then the extra point is blocked for two the other end.

WTF! Is going on?

I don’t know what to do with Quentin. Unquestionably has the tools, but the composure is badly lacking and I don’t know how much that can be coached up at this stage.

That’s the most John Harbaugh shit I’ve ever seen

The playoffs change things. The effect is real.

Jesus fuck, @Jack Regan already said this. In a post I quoted!

Don’t do drugs, kids.
