The NFL Thread

When he caught the National Championship winning pass from Tua when they were both freshmen (first year students) at the University of Alabama, I remember thinking to myself "he could be great, but only if he bulks up".

Well, he never bulked up and managed to be truly great at that level regardless. Never had injury problems either that I can remember.

As the kids say, he's built different.

I hope Miami have the book thrown at them
It's an NFL problem as the teams do not care about player welfare as has been proved time after time.

Independent health reports for players should be filled every week instead of self reporting from the teams.

I hope Tua is OK and I hope he sues the NFL for lack of protection.

The rules need to change, can't have players with a head injury playing within 7 days.

Agreed, the media, team and league are all complicit for choosing to believe the back injury when nobody really did. The hit itself last night was unnecessary, no need to ragdoll him like that, they rarely get called whereas a much safer sack which may end in the defender partially landing on the QB does.

The Dolphins let him go out there knowing he was concussed 4 days ago but lied about it. To me that is criminal negligence and the owner and HC should be facing severe repercussions. The owner should be forced to sell the team to a new owner (it isn't his first offence), and the HC should be facing a year suspension. They 100% knew what they were doing.

Vikings have dropped a ridiculous number of very catchable passes today

What is it with the Saints and bogus PI calls, honestly.

Don’t think I’ve ever seen a kick that close before. Must have been millimetres

I'm so tired of Allen's defenses crumbling in crucial moments.

Won't be sad if this year is all he gets.

I'm sure I remember someone doinking both uprights and the crossbar at some point. Might have been in college, though.

Trevor Lawrence currently playing with biscuits for fingers, third fumble on the day.

Then a fourth when the Jags get an unlikely possession chance to tie the game.

..and again. He'll learn from it, but in those conditions the one thing you have to do is protect the ball. The loss is more on him than anything Philly have done really
