Good luck. For money?

I usually enter the $1 multilpiers where the top 9 win $3. The max number of players in these is 31 so it's basically a 1 in 3 chance of winning, which is better odds than any other competition I've seen on there.
Thanks, I've gone in with the big boys....$4 game, 297 players, top 77 get paid so about 1/4 chance of getting something back.

A light dusting of snow in Buffalo...

Wentz rumoured to have done his ACL, if that is the case then that'll be one post season game and out as Foles isn't a play off game winning QB....gutted

Tbf we have no idea if Wentz is a playoff winning QB as yet, and there was a time not so long ago that Foles looked at least as good as Wentz has this year.

Let's see what happens. Philly is a good team. Wentz wasn't holding it together all by his lonesome.

Borrowed from elsewhere but sums up the difference:
Wentz threw 27 touchdown passes in the Eagles' last nine games. Only six QBs in NFL history — Tom Brady, Dan Marino, Peyton Manning, Aaron Rodgers, Drew Brees and George Blanda — have ever thrown more in any nine-game span. All are Hall of Famers.
Foles is a competent backup, but the two are incomparable.

We say that now, but remember in Foles' first season he was one of the best in the league, with 27 TDs and 2 INTs. That's an absurd ratio. In fact it's the second best in league history, only bettered recently by Brady throwing 28 and 2.

Wentz has been as good as that but until he puts it together for a couple of years consistently I won't buy that they aren't comparable.

We aren't going to agree on this, but you are so, so wrong [emoji6]. Assuming this injury doesn't cause any long term damage Wentz will go on to be an all time Eagles great, Foles will only ever be the guy who had a good breakthrough season, but ultimately was traded for Sam Bradford and his glass knees.

American football has made me cynical. I remember when RGIII was going to be the next great one. And Steve Beuerlein (although I was pretty young back then). Colin Kaepernick. Nick Foles. Peyton Hillis. Victor Cruz. Cadillac Williams. Steve Slaton. Perhaps most famously, Ickey Woods, originator of the Ickey shuffle.

I promise I'm not trying to burst your forest green bubble. Just saying that football is an exceptionally cruel game.

That lot are barely the last 5 minutes of American football. Both Mannings, Brees, Favre, Rodgers, Beckham Jr, Julio Jones. The sport has some exceptionally gifted players over the last few years.

It is more brutal now than ever before but TT is right, superstars make football great and difference makers are massive in the sport as Tom Brady consistently proves.

I don't really understand your point.

I don't really understand your point.

Not unusual.

Carson Wenzhou = Superstar
Nick Foles = adequate QB

Teams need superstars to win things and whilst Philly has a good team they don't have the extra that will win them a Championship. The Pats, Steelers and Panthers have those stars.

You should check up on some of the terminology James, most weeks you pick at least one player who is ruled out. IR for instance means Injured Reserve so your QB wasn't ever going to play on Sunday.

Unsurprisingly I didn't win anything, but Bear would have trebled his money.

Who do we reckon is making the playoffs in the NFC?

Rams, Eagles, Vikings, Saints in or as good as.

Packers and Lions have to win out, both can’t do it as they play each other and I doubt either will anyway (Packers play Panthers this week where a Carolina win basically puts them in and Packers out)

Leaves the Falcons and Seahawks. If the Seahawks win this week against the Rams then there’s every chance they’ll finish 11-5 knocking the Falcons out (best case they finish 10-6 IMO, but they have the tie breaker over Lions, Packers and Seahawks, were any of those to finish 10-6)

Head says Seahawks, but I’m hoping falcons can just put it together to sneak in.

The best QB in the NFL is back this week, don't discount the Packers. They have a tough run, but that could also make them play off ready, although I think you'll need 11-5 to get in so they'll miss out. Eagles will likely take the Number One seed as Foles is good enough to get past the Raiders and Giants but in all likelihood will lose the Divisional Round to whoever they play.
My prediction
WC
Panthers@Seahawks
Rams@Saints
Div
Saints@Eagles
Seahawks@Vikings
Champ
Saints@Vikings
Superbowl
Saints to lose

Can't see us (the Saints) getting past LA, honestly. We're good but we're not that good.

Losing to Atlanta even after intercepting Ryan three times has really spoiled my optimism for the playoffs.

It's strange to enter a team without one of, or both of Jordan Howard and Hunter Henry!
