The Nerdy Dr Who Geekfest Thread

Yeah, this one was the best out of the three for me, and since I didn't mention this already the second one was vry much decent as well ("You are a good Dalek"... makes me think of the Ninth Doctors first encounter with one!) Loved the "oh this is getting silly" moment from The Doctor!

Also, it's around this moment where Capaldi really started to win me over!

That was loads of fun! :) Loved it.

Was that a pic of Patrick Troughton when he played Robin Hood during the "legend montage"?

Yes I believe he was in there, along with Errol Flynn and the usual suspects.

She'll leave.They always leave. :)

My mistake, dying doesn't kill her character off.

The whole forum, having to deal with all you English people who suddenly decide to introduce words I have to look up. :)

Thought Saturday's episode was very good - though I think I just preferred the previous weeks'. But that's what the show is about for me - a bit of a yarn, some humour thrown in and I'm loving Capaldi's Doctor already, the sulky bugger that he is.

Overall I'm impressed with the new series so far, a lot more than I expected to be.

That was a really really gripping episode have to say, especially with that ending part! Hard to think of him like that but they linked things up fairly well, that and what the "presence" was if I understood it correctly! Wonder what the hell that bed thing was though - must have been the more boring explanation...

I also need to learn how to do that spoiler tag thing so as to not be that cryptic!

This series has really impressed me so far. A really clever, heartwarming, well written episode.
