The Music Thread Strikes Back


In my opinion Lee Mavers is a once in a generation talent. A shame he left music, so soon.

I listened to that a few weeks ago. Absolutely superb album. 28 years old this year, bloody hell that makes me feel old.

Velvet Morning was always my favourite track from it.

went to see Alexis Ffrench playing some absolutely delightful piano yesterday. exceptionally tranquil and soulful.

Crazy prices but it does say in the small print at the bottom that all profits will be split across a few charities - which is dece.

Guess when your a “singer” in a certain style it’s a tough song to “sing” in a style that sounds good without just trying to copy the original.
