The Music Thread Strikes Back

Interesting programme about to start here with a gig from a classic Oz band I have never experienced before who are reforming for their fiftieth birthday tour. Cold Chisel. Totally new name to me, so I shall watch with interest

AC/DC tickets over here were also way too expensive.

are rhino bucket still going over there? their debut album sounds like a bunch of ac/dc wannabe's.
edit - lol, thought they were an aussie band, but seems they're american?

Was off to see Paul Heaton in Wolvo this December but had to bin that off due to the wife's incoming surgery and she will be off her feet for the rest of the year.

Just booked to watch his Brammall Lane gig next May with Shed Seven and Lightning Seeds supporting.

£39.50 a ticket (with insurance the extra fees were around £9).

The more disturbing thing is that there’s enough interest for them to do that

One city is not a fucking UK tour...

Looking forward to a couple of gigs next 10 days or so. The Enemy tomorrow (seen them before, put on a great show) and then Richard Ashcroft next Sunday

Just heard on the radio that Cast no Shadow was written about Richard Ashcroft. That’s pretty cool.
